Welcome to Computer Club

Next Club Meeting: Wednesday, August 8th, 2018
7:00pm - 10:00pm

Computer Club is a an informal gathering of people interested in computation, electronics, art, design, and culture. It is primarily a hands-on work time for people to work on their projects independently or as a group.  The format is simple, each week we do quick introductions, then someone gives a 15-30 minutes hands on demo to teach participants something interesting. The next 90-120 minutes are for people to work, get feedback on their project, or quietly stare into space.

Who attends: People who do things with software, hardware, robotics, hijinks, arduino, processing, openframeworks, machine learning, three.js, cinder, computer vision, shaders, unity, unreal, p5.js, etc.

What to bring: We will provide coffee, water, and a few snacks. The location is close to many restaurants and a few corner stores. Bring a laptop and any other materials you need for your project. If you are teaching a demo you can expect people to have their own laptops, but you should bring all other materials for the demo. We will have a projector.
